TeamSnap App revisa

Super

:-)

Don’t like it

Not going to keep it as a glorified text messaging system for free and not going to pay for premium features as a team player not coach.

Absolute piece of garbage

This is the worst app of all time just why I am going to throw my phone into a lake after writing this that’s how bad it is

Clunky & unreliable

Both my kids teams were using this app, I got kicked out of my sons and could not recover it. Sadly, because the team relied so heavily on TeamSnap, I had no email or way other than the app to contact the coach and we missed last game and practice. Disappointing

Aggressive ads

I get it, it’s free for parents to use but your ads are disruptive and obtrusive. Plenty of other apps have ads but none make it to the level of team snap.

Great

Very Good

Too many ads

The app has some good features to help teams communicate, but the ads are intrusive and make it unusable at times. Get rid of the ads or don’t allow ads that interrupt what I have come to TS for and it is much better experience.

Ad Ridden

Why is this app ruined by so many ads, big, small, floaters, animated and full screen!? The concept and the flow of the app is great, but the ads just kill the enjoyment. I understand you are trying to make money, but slow the roll on the ads; especially for people that have only one or two seasonal leagues to follow. You guys should work out a deal with all the leagues/teams, where the player/end user gets the ad free option. Also what’s up with all the scams with “winning” gift cards as well?

App is fine, ads are infuriating

You arrive at the park and forget which field you have to walk over to. You are running late because, kids. You open team snap and click on schedule, and…. a video starts playing, forcing you to watch a useless ad before you can get the details you need. Why? Money for the sake of it? Would it kill you to make this ad free? Is the revenue really that significant? And spare me the “cost to develop the app” nonsense. Add features that make the paid version worth it and more clubs may opt for that. Instead of annoying everyone. I use this because we have no choice. I cannot wait until the day I can delete it.

App still crashes

The app requires you to log out if you have accounts with different emails. Also, the app crashes on iOS and OS.

Work good when it works

There are days that it just does not load content. Sometimes an update fixes it and sometimes it is caused by an update. I have also had to delete the app and reinstall to get it to work.

Force Closes - Mac 14.5 (23F79)

App used to work great. It no longer launches. It forces closes as soon as it is opened. macOS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79)

Worst

I hate that my kids sports chats and schedules are in this app! The adds are terrible. That chat never displays. I get a partial notification and then when I go to the chat, it is blank… won’t load. I do like the calendar subscription option for my Google calendar but so much happens in the chat and it never loads correctly.

iOS 18

Needs themed icon support.

Notifications

I keep getting notifications that I have messages on Team Snap but when I open the app there is nothing new. On my phone’s home screen the app’s icon just permanently has a 1 over it indicating a message on the app yet no message/update/alert exists

Update

Update made it so i can’t access any of my new teams info. It keeps displaying oops something went wrong with liading

Can’t handle more than one team

I have 2 kids with teams that use this app. It is practically impossible to switch between them. I have to go through the website because when I use the app, though it says I have two teams, it will work for one of them.

Ads take over experience…

It gives a calendar and message for the team. Great for parents. However, there’s certain annoyances that could be improved. 1. Don’t show full screen ads. Last thing I want to see when I go to use the app is a takeover. Fixed by force close and reopen. This is the type of app I don’t spend time in so getting an ad that takes over makes users upset. 2. Google Calendar integration is a PITA. Why can’t we do this from Mobile… had to do it from web. It does work though

Ads everywhere

So many ads that the free version is almost unusable.

Crashes on MacOS 100% of the time

Such a waste of an app if it doesn’t support the latest hardware. Crashes 100% of the time upon opening on MacOS M2 Sequoia

To many ads

I don’t know why teams chose this app there is ads and it’s annoying then they try to get you to pay to not have them

So Many Ads

App is fine and useful but there are so many adds… gets annoying really fast!

Greedy Pay Structure

This app has nice functionality and we have used it for a long time, but they have changed. To pay $80 per year for player availability and a roster more than 12 is a lot when most others do that for free. The real dealbreaker is that payment does not eliminate ads for everyone on the team, which feels like a money grab. In fact every profile has to pay individually to eliminate ads if they didn’t pay the subscription. I’m a coach but not the one that paid the subscription and have ads that delay my abilities during a game if I need to change between screens of scoring the game and answering questions on text to watch a timed ad is causing us to change apps after this season.

Great App

This app is really useful for your child’s soccer games and practices

Nice app, frustrating ad campaign

The app itself is nice. I find it easy to communicate with the team and see schedule updates. However instead of just having small ads at the bottom, full screen ads pop up always when you are trying to do something quick and it is very frustrating.

Terrible

App worked at first and then stopped recognizing my email address, without any change I made. Support is not effective. Far too many ad pop ups.

Ads galore

I paid an annual subscription for the team I’m managing but the other team my son is part of still has ads. So I have one team with no ads, and another team with ads. That’s a bit ridiculous, because you want me to pay another $2 per month to go ads free when I already spent $80 for the year. The app is good, but would’ve been better when acknowledging paid patrons. These subscription models are getting out of hand.

Avoid - zero customer service

This app used to be great. The support used to be phenomenal. I’ve used this as a coach for two teams, and as an athlete on another. Their support is nonexistent they will give cut and paste answers that do not pertain to the issue you’re having and then ask if there’s anything else they can help you with. Setting a lineup through the app is unreliable There are often error messages that prevent you from publishing or saving a lineup. There are also issues with TeamSnap. Emailing people completely unrelated to our team with our updates, telling them that they’re just a guest and that they need to create an account.

Amazing!

When I saw awesome I mean awesome! This app allows you to follow your schedule and stay in contact with your team and coaches. Not only that but it allows you to check the availability and if you can’t make a practice don’t fret you can change your availability with ease!

The most horrible annoying app

I have used this app for years because it’s the only way I can get any information on my son‘s sport teams. The coach has sent me emails to join this app and I have not received them. The app will not find the emails and say they have not been sent. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I’ve tried a different email address to set it up. Nothing works then tonight I get an email from TeamSnap about an upcoming event. Still not able to log on.

Too many notifications

Time to move to the next app no settings that allow game notifications but not get 10 others in a day. The response doesn’t address the issue. You can only decide to receive no notifications or you start to get unwanted ones with the desired team updates.

DON’T PAY EXTRA for TeamSnap

You know how casinos make it so that while you’re in there, you can’t figure out what time of day it is and they sort of hide the exits which makes it harder to leave so that they can take more of your money? That’s kind of how TeamSnap is. Once you give them a credit card, you can never remove that credit card from your account. And if you make the mistake of signing up and paying for some extra feature, they will keep billing you over and over again until you happen to get lucky and find the place on their website where you can cancel your subscription. GameChanger has all the same features and you can livestream, so I think the only reason why people still use TeamSnap is because they were the first and people don’t know that there are better team management solutions out there.

To many ads!

To many ads. Would not use unless I absolutely had to for kids sports.

Fees, ads and more fees

They charge an organization to create a team and now they’re throwing full screen subscription begging at each team member. This after the ads became more and more intrusive while slowing app functionality to a crawl and are now being sent by push notification! I’ll be pushing my organizations to use a new app next season.

Forced notifications

App recently started sending marketing and general notifications that cannot be toggled off.

Notifications/Ads!

I don’t mind a few ads, but our club team pays for this and the app STILL sends me multiple notifications each day to upgrade to the paid version. There’s no way to turn these off without turning off important notifications. It’s gotten worse in the past month. I think they’re desperate for cash. This is spam. Wish there was another alternative for me.

Good but not great

It’s very helpful and easy to use but the ads are very excessive. It seems like they’re trying to force you into buying a subscription to avoid the ads. Also, a calendar view of the games would be great. Maybe that’ll come soon!

Scams

Everything on TeamSnap is very organized and helpful. Although I keep getting scams on TeamSnap when I enter my availability. The scams will tell me I have a gift card earned from TeamSnap, and it will bring me to a website that I can shop for sports stuff but then it will charge me the actual price and won’t even apply the gift card.

Please stop

Please stop with the “Check your schedule” notification spam, or at least provide a way to disable it.

Used to be great

Spans you daily to pay for premium now. Intrusive ads. Obviously desperate for money

Abusing notifications

I have marketing notifications turned off and yet they keep coming. I don’t know why we keep paying for a service that then feeds you ads constantly.

Stop the marketing notifications

I did not agree to get the marketing notifications that have been coming since the latest release. They are a major distraction from the valuable use of the app. Please stop them or provide a way to disable them.

Great functionality but spam and ads galore

For team management this app is great. Much better than anything else out there. That said, the amount of email spam and in-app ads is unacceptable - especially on a paid plan. This has gotten worse recently, so hopefully will improve quickly!

Worst message app ever.

You get a notification of a new message and it doesn’t upload and show up. God forbid it’s important. Would never ever use this again. You get 10% of messages timely.

no customer support

something happened to my account on my iphone and i can't no longer log in. Trying to reach customer support is impossible. ZERO support. can't even enter a required nickname because they are all "taken"

Ruined a rather good app with ads

I get companies need to make money, but this app has gone crazy with ads. All you want to see is what field your on for a game and here’s an ad! It’s outrageous and we will be migrating to something better. Also, at least if you implement ads you should do it well. These people did it like an Elon Musk chain saw job

Not a fan of this one

I hate how the app tries relentlessly to get you to pay for a premium version. Sometimes when I open it the app has a subscription highlighted and I could easily click through and accidentally sign up for something. Game changes is way better.

Clunky

The app has always given me issues and I can’t even post a message to my team. So many more features for free on other apps. It just seems like they haven’t kept up with the times, unfortunately in every aspect.

The Ads are crazy

The basic functionality of this app is ok. Not really any better or worse than others I’ve used for team. But the ads inside taking over the screen and making you do a force quit to get back the information is very frustrating. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never seen that in the other similar applications. Also if you use the website version you can’t see chats. So you have to use the app.

TeamSnap Double Dip

The basic chat and schedule features of TeamSnap worked well until they started using intrusive ads. Even with a paid subscription to TeamSnap “ad free”, you’ll need to consistently restore purchases in order to prevent them from appearing. You’re guaranteed to see no less than 2 inline ads plus a full page one pop up before you can reach the settings menu to restore your subscription. Is it too much to ask to get what you pay for? It’s annoying and unethical that TeamSnap gets ad revenue and subscription fees from subscribers.
